Itinerary

Monday, October 14th
From 12:30 pm on: Arrival in Córdoba. Participants go directly to the centrally located hotel, check-in, and pick up orientation packets upon arrival.
7:30 pm: Orientation meeting in lobby
8:30 pm: Welcome Dinner with SSA Directors
Tuesday, October 15th
8 – 9 am: Breakfast at hotel
9 am: Meet in lobby
9:30 am: Welcome meeting at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC)
11 am: Meeting with UNC’s President (Rector) John Boretto
11 am – 12 pm: Class visits at UNC/PECLA
12 – 2 pm: Lunch with SSA students and UNC/PECLA staff at local restaurant
2 – 4 pm: More class visits at PECLA and UNC
4 pm: UNC Campus tour
6 pm: Dinner on own
Wednesday, October 16th
8 – 9:30 am: Breakfast at hotel
9:45 am: Meet in hotel lobby
10 am – 6 pm: Day excursion to Parque Nacional “Quebrada El Condorito.” This activity forms part of the Patagonia program. Lunch included
Thursday, October 17th
8 – 9 am: Breakfast at hotel
9:30 am: Walking tour of historic downtown Córdoba including UNESCO World Patrimony sites
10:30 – 11:30 am: Visit internship placement
12 pm: Visit Palacio Ferreyra
1:30 – 3 pm: Lunch at restaurant in Nueva Córdoba
3:30 pm: Homestay visit
5 pm: Visit service learning placement (optional)
8 pm: Meet in the hotel lobby for dinner at Guemes, followed by a tango class!

Friday, October 18th
8 – 9:30 am: Breakfast at hotel
9:45 am: Meet in hotel lobby All day excursion to Alta Gracia (estancia jesuíta), followed by a visit to the Che Guevara Museum, an asado style lunch at nearby estancia; horseback riding available if weather permits
5:30 pm: Return to the city
Saturday, October 19th
8 – 9 am: Breakfast at hotel
All day: Departure for U.S.
