Sunday, March 9th

Seville, Spain
AM Upon arrival, take a taxi from the airport to the hotel (TBD)
7 pm Dr. Michelle Durán, CEO SSA Education Abroad, will greet everyone at hotel lobby
7:15 pm Walk to the SSA Center for a brief Orientation followed by a tour of the facilities
8:15 pm Welcome dinner
Monday, March 10th
Breakfast at hotel
8:45 -10:20 am An SSA staff member will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to walk you to the SSA Center for class visits
10:30 am - 1:45 pm Tour of the Universidad de Sevilla. Visit to an internship or service learning placement. Marta Borrero, Resident Director, will accompany you to these visits.
Note: A visit to Universidad Pablo de Olavide is also available (20-minute subway ride). Please inform SSA staff if interested before the start of the program.
2 - 3:30 pm Tapas lunch with SSA staff, faculty, and students at the SSA Center.
3:45 pm Walk with a local expert to the Alcázar Royal Palace (1.5 hours approx.)
7 - 8:30 pm Walk to a local “tablao” to see a Flamenco Show

Tuesday, March 11th

Barcelona, Spain
Breakfast at hotel
9:30 am - 12 pm The SSA Housing Coordinator will meet you at the hotel lobby to depart for a homestay and student residence visit
12:15 pm Depart from the hotel to the airport. Lunch on own at the airport
3:15 - 4:55 pm Flight to Barcelona. Transfer to hotel and check-in
6:45 pm Meet María de la Viña, Resident Director, at the hotel lobby. Walk to SSA Office for a brief Orientation
7:30 pm Gothic Quarter Walking Tour led by a local expert followed by dinner with SSA staff and students
Wednesday, March 12th
Breakfast at hotel
8:30 am SSA Barcelona Resident Director will meet you at the hotel lobby to visit Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)where we will meet with the Director of Study Abroad.
10:20 am - 12 pm Class visit at UAB
12 pm Depart for Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) to meet UPF's Director of Study Abroad
2 - 3:30 pm Lunch at a beachside restaurant
4:30 pm Visit to La Pedrera with a local expert (1.5 hours approx.)
Free time and dinner on own
Thursday, March 13th
Breakfast at hotel
9 am Visit to ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering followed by a visti to a service learning placement at El Raval Neighborhood
1:30 pm Depart from the hotel to the airport. Lunch on own at the airport
4:40 - 5:50 pm Flight to Alicante. Transfer by taxi to hotel and check-in
7:30 pm Meet Pepa Vives, Resident Director, at the hotel lobby for a Welcome Orientation followed by dinner
Friday, March 14th

Alicante, Spain
Breakfast at the hotel
8:15 am An SSA staff will meet you at hotel lobby to depart to Universidad de Alicante (UA) where we will visit the SSA office
9:00-10:30 am Class visit at UA
11:15-11:45 am Welcome meeting at he Centro Superior de Idiomas/Language Center of the Universidad de Alicante
12 - 1 pm Tour of the UA
1:30 - 3 pm Lunch at UA with SSA staff and students
3:15 pm Depart to the hotel
5:30 pm Santa Bárbara Castle and Old Town City Center Walking Tour
Free time and dinner on own
Saturday, March 15th
Hotel check-out and departure
