Studying Abroad: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

SSA works to create an environment that is welcoming and supportive of students from all backgrounds

The following resources and questions are meant to be a starting point to prepare you for your time abroad. These resources are only part of the support and information that is available to you – your campus, advisors, and community may have additional resources and channels of support. SSA Staff are also more than happy to speak with you if you have any questions or need to discuss anything further.

Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible with the resources we provide. This page will be updated as we find and create additional resources. However, we acknowledge that there may be gaps in our resources. If you do not see yourself represented in our resources, please contact [email protected]. If you are an SSA alumni who holds any of these identities and you would like to share your experiences or serve as a contact for other students, please let us know.
