Internships & Service Learning Opportunities for 2026-2027

Turn your study abroad experience into hands-on learning

Take your study abroad experience beyond the classroom with SSA’s Internship and Service Learning opportunities, available as an ADD-ON to select programs in eligible destinations. These guided experiences let students apply what they are learning in real-world settings, strengthen professional and intercultural skills, and engage meaningfully with local communities.

Internship

Hands-on professional experience in a workplace setting. Students apply academic knowledge in a supervised role, develop career skills, and complete guided reflection as part of their program.

Service Learning

Community-based experience focused on social impact and intercultural engagement. Students work with local organizations, reflect on community needs, and connect service with academic learning.

You can add an internship or service-learning experience as an add-on to any program in these destinations.
