Group Site Visits
These visits are an orientation to our study abroad programs, facilities, and staff, as well as the local cultures and surroundings. You join a select group of faculty, advisors, and administrators as you travel and learn about our programs. SSA covers general on-site costs for participants, following the ethical standards established by The Forum on Education Abroad.
Site visits provide our partners and advisors an insider’s perspective on our academic programs abroad, as well as a better understanding of the unique experiences we provide to students. All site visits are managed by our Resident Directors and on-site staff. Activities include orientation, class visits, study visits, meetings with students, question and answer sessions, and cultural events.
SSA subsidizes these visits by covering all housing, most program meals, and in-country travel.
